Raving Chimera

 The Lesser of two Evils

Yesterday I was challenged by a churchy Republican to write about the issues important to this years campaign. It seems he felt that my “raving about letting a sex offender on stage” at the DNC was a little to lite and off-topic, so lets talk some issues.

9,632,028,413,967 is our current national debt. What does Mr. Churchy think the debt is going to be if John McCain gets to fight wars for the next 8 years? My guess is that we will top 15 trillion dollars but he probably know more about that than I do.

When George bush became president, there were pension plan in this country worth about 5 trillion dollars. Now the Corporate Raider’s have that money in Switzerland and the Cayman Islands and there hasn’t even been an investigation into that.
Why? Because the DOJ has become so politicized that they fire people for giving the wrong answer on the Roe v. Wade test. These used to be non-political appointments folks, now they are extremely political.

And who is responsible for this politicization? 3 human colostomy bags named Harriet Myers, Karl Rove, and Alberto Gonzalez. Oh and guess what, President quick draw won’t let them answer questions on the record, that is how bad they sullied their own jobs.

We could talk about the EPA being taken over by the people who do the actual polluting. The Justice Department being taken over by the people who should be investigated, or the supreme court being taken over by people who think Hitler was a light weight when it came to taking away people’s civil rights.

The worst thing about all of this is that the Democratic Candidate (Obama in case you live in a cave) is too afraid of good ideas, and too beholden to bad people to make a big difference. It’s enough to make thinking people vote for Cynthia McKinney (Green Party Candidate 08) or even Bob Barr. Here’s the problem with that: Cynthia and Bob don’t have a chance in hell of winning, and the one thing that we as a nation can’t live through, is two more sweaty mongoloids on the Supreme Court like Roberts and Allito. I’m not afraid of anything like I’m afraid of them, Thomas and Scalia, Roberts and Allito getting a 5th playmate would be the end of our republic as we know it. So I will grit my teeth and vote for the lesser of two evils: Barack Obama.

So now we let sex offenders speak at the DNC?

Bill Clinton might just be a worse human being than John McCain and the Democratic National Convention let him give a key note address last night. Okay, he’s not as bad as say Richard Ramirez (the night stalker) or that Megan’s Law guy, but how many women has Bill Clinton cheated on his wife with? How many of their reputations have been sullied by the Clinton political apparatus? How many were threatened? How many of them weren’t one timers? I don’t know the answers to these questions, but I know that if I did, I would hate the Clintons even more than I do now.

One final name to bring up, Ms. Monica Lewinsky. Talk about used and thrown under the bus. This young lady was a lot closer to his daughter’s age than his own. Apparently Monica Lewinsky didn’t have a father or brothers, because if she did, as soon a Bill left the white house he would have ended up in traction. If that had been my little sister who had given Bill too many blowjobs to count, I would have killed him and he would have deserved it; 200 lbs of dead Bubba. Hillary was a stretch for letting her speak at the convention. Bill was just a crime against decency.

Pillars of enlightenment they are not

So we have John McCain who still doesn’t seem to understand the difference between a Sunni and a Shia Muslim, and Nancy Pelosi insisting to Tom Brokaw that natural gas is not a fossile fuel.
You think I’m making this up? http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26377338/page/3/

Can it get any worse? Yes it can!

Barack Obama has just chosen as his running mate (Joe Biden VT) a man who not only voted for the war in Iraq, but he continues to vote to fund the war at every turn. Does anybody else recall the November elections of 2006? I seem to remember a huge Democratic shift in the country. People were??? How did it go?? “Sick and fucking tired of this war” and they wanted it ended?? Yes! that was it.

Now Michelle Obama wants us to vote for her husband because they share our American values? Pardon me Mrs. Obama but most of the people I know don’t have to choose whether they vacation in St. Bart versus the French Riviera. Most of the people I know are wondering where their next mortgage payment is going to come from. They wonder how they are going to pay their next crushing health care bill, and sometimes those are people who have insurance. I’m not buying the poor little rich girl act. In fact I better check the balance in my checking account, to see if we can get our son new shoes that he desperately needs, or does it wait until next payday…

The most evil man in America- Randy Scheunemann

Dirty Dick Cheney is a pretty evil guy. He supports just about any sick minded prejudice, or rape of the little guy you can think of; but lately he’s been getting some serious competition. Randy Scheunemann is a lobyist and that would be a bad enough thing on its own, but what Randy lobbies for is military conflict with Russia; essentially starting up the Cold War again. I just can’t think of anything more evil than intentionally inflaming US relations with Russia. While I agree Russia over reacted when they over ran Georgia, I don’t think what they did was worse than what Bush did in Iraq.

The Cold war cost Americans trillions of dollars over the course of 50 years. If you have any imagination at all, you can probably think of something you would like to see your government do, beside piss away money on unneccesary hostilities. Universal Health Care and comprehensive education are just two things that spring to mind. The idea of everyone having access and incentive to comprehensive nutrition, and fitness could save this country Billions of dollars in health care costs over the next 100 years; but if you try to bring it up, you get called a Marxist and shouted down. Personally, I think Marx had some good ideas so the word rolls off me like a non-epithet, but it makes some people really nervous. How is wanting your country to be healthy Marxist?

The only way to defeat this kind of sick minded lobbying is to support candidates who oppose all lobbying. Candidates like that are pretty rare where I’m from (Utah) but please support them in November if you can.
The end, and ideally death of all lobbyists is a goal we can all strive for :-) See you at the polls in November!!

Tolerance is one of the ugliest words

My wife taught me that tolerance is one of the ugliest words in the English language. It smacks and drips with political correctness but in truth, it usually represents a green light for people to feel hate, and talk hate, without using the word hate.

The word is just so nebulous, and that my friends is what covers a panacea of iniquities. You can tolerate darkies and watch them die of starvation, or rot in prisons. You can tolerate impoverished single mothers (republicans call them sluts) and still try to force them into carrying a pregnancy to term. You can tolerate fags but still watch them get beaten to death on the streets, or believe they deserve to die of AIDS.

The right wing loves tolerance because it allows them to be devoid of compassion but leaves their conscience un-pricked. We must do better. We must strive for love. We must prick!!
